PeerSync offers a detailed monitoring console to provide administrators with critical information about replication jobs needed to determine cut over to a new system.
With our byte-level technology, only changed parts of a file will be transferred to the target system to save bandwidth while file recovery technology enables PeerSync to resume file transfers where they left off in case of a connection loss. Both features are a great help if you need to migrate over a WAN link.
PeerSync can migrate data in real-time from Windows Server to a NetApp Filer or from one NetApp Filer to another NetApp Filer.
Source-Target Mapping can be imported from a text file at the start of a job to simplify job management.
PeerSync Migration Edition for NetApp also enables data reorganization at the folder and file level which is ideal for Qtree breakouts when migrating from NetApp Data ONTAP 7-Mode to Clustered Data ONTAP systems.
PeerSync offers support to migrate your reparse points without bringing back the original files from the archive. PeerSync will simply replicate the reparse points to the target system.
