BARCODE READING CONTROLS

WHAT IS IT?

MobileImage provides two controls for reading barcodes: one in real-time using a camera to find a barcode, and a second that reads all barcodes on a captured image

WHAT PROBLEMS DOES IT SOLVE?

• Real Time Document Validation - If a barcode is required on a captured image, MobileImage can verify its presence before capturing an image
• Barcode Extraction - Our Mobile Barcode API can read the complete data on all barcodes on a captured image

WHAT IS IT?

With MobileImage, you get controls and supporting API to efficiently capture quality images from a mobile camera

WHAT PROBLEMS DOES IT SOLVE?

• Camera Steady - MobileImage’s control uses the built in accelerometer to choose the best timing to capture an optimum picture
• Page Detection - Capture will only occur when a page is detected
• Image Review - MobileImage also allows you to use an additional control to allow users to review and edit an image before submission to other systems

MobileImage comes with an engine to automatically clean up a camera captured image, either using the camera capture controls or an image on the mobile device's hard drive

• Page Conversion - The MobileImage API  can automatically crop and convert a page to a small, clean, and transformable document
• Noise Removal - Remove highlighter or image texture on a page to make printed text clean and easy to submit to a workflow processing agent
