MarkzTools2
MarkzTools2 is a standalone application that converts InDesign documents into IDML files without the need for InDesign.
Like the original MarkzTools, MarkzTools2 can be used to open and modify documents created in a newer version of InDesign, including CC, CC 2014 and CC 2015 in older versions of InDesign. This is done by converting the newer document into an IDML file readable by InDesign CS4 and newer.
Convert InDesign Documents to IDML
There are many applications that can import or edit IDML files. There is often a need to work with an InDesign document in one of these other applications. If you have an InDesign document but do not have access to the InDesign application itself, you might think that you are out of luck, but you aren’t.
