Route Electric Interlocking Simulator

SIMACEI simulates a Route Electric Interlocking fully reproducing the operation in normal and emergency conditions of a railway station. SIMACEI can generate trains traffic and create faults and emergency situations to train Station Masters (SM) and Central Control Room Operators (CRM) in both normal and emergency operating conditions.

 

It is important to emphasize that SIMACEI simulates a Route Electric Interlocking of a real station chosen by the user and that all unit diagrams are uploaded without any simplification, in order to guarantee the most realistic operational experience.

 

The system is in a condition to support the initial and periodic training of the above professional operators, at the same time of more operators. It allows also SM and CRM to be trained to prepare the modules with the instructions to be written and given to the train drivers for particular operating conditions.

 

With SIMACEI the station masters learn to correctly and efficiently manoeuvre the station devices to guarantee normal operations and, consequently, to respect the train schedules; most remarkably, station managers learn how to appropriately manage emergencies, ensuring a rapid resumption of service (minimizing inevitable delays) and avoiding inappropriate manoeuvres that could jeopardize the safety of people and rolling stock.

 

When integrated with SIMURAIL, Station Masters can participate to integrated training sessions together with Train Drivers.
