BIMDeX SolidWorks Exporter and Revit Importer is a Add-in for SolidWorks & Revit Application provided by BIMDeX.
Export your SolidWorks Assemblies (.sldasm) and Parts (.sldprt) as a BXF file using our SolidWorks Exporter plugin. This will translates all the SolidWorks data as a BXF file and Import the BXF file inside Revit using our Revit Importer Plugin.?

What file types are supported?
All SolidWorks part (.sldprt) and assembly (.sldasm) files can be converted to Autodesk Revit Families (.rfa) and Projects (.rvt).
What type of models can I convert?
Any model type such as Furniture, Lighting, HVAC, MEP Elements, Structural or Architectural components can be converted.
What languages do you support?
The tool works in English, German, French, Italian and Spanish environments.
Do I need to have both SolidWorks and Revit to do the conversion?
You need to have both the software to use the product. But if you do not, you can opt our CAD translation service, so we would convert your SolidWorks models to Revit for you.
Is this a standalone software?
No, this is just an addon plugin tool that will be installed in your existing SolidWorks and Revit environments.
How does this work? Does this use STEP or SAT?
No, our tool works on our proprietary BXF file format. The SolidWorks model is converted to a BXF file using the SolidWorks Export plugin and the BXF file is then converted to Revit files using the Revit Import plugin.
