USB is a standard and universal cable, and the only one you'll need to connect your Android to Mac and work with its content in Finder effortlessly and fast. MacDroid features two modes to satisfy your needs better.
ADB ModeADB
This multiplex mode is recommended to use for your Android for a fast and efficient file transfer and management.
MTP ModeMTP
This mode is easy and comprehensive. While in MTP mode you can connect not just your Android, but other supported devices, like a camera or an MP3 player.
Here are three easy steps to get started:
1. Connect your Android to Mac via USB
Once you have installed and opened the MacDroid app, open “Devices” in its main menu and connect your Android to Mac.
In MacDroid select either ADB (recommended) or MTP mode and follow the offered steps to allow your computer to access your Android contents.
Now that your device is connected you can open it in the Finder app and start transferring and editing files.
