The MIB creation wizard helps you quickly create a basic MIB module with a scalable structure.

Define your own common object name prefix to let MIB Designer create new object names using the defined prefix.

 

In order to be able to define a new MIB module, you need to define a root object identifier (IOD). There is typically only a single root OID for a MIB module, but that’s not a requirement.

Specify the root object identifier under which the new MIB module has to be created.

 

The third step creates a best practise MIB structure and basic groups by default.

 

The table editor ensures consistent and easy SNMP table editing. MIB objects can be selected from imports and the current MIB module according to SNMP rules.
