DBeaver is a universal database management tool for everyone who needs to work with data in a professional way.

 

With DBeaver, you are able to manipulate with your data like in a regular spreadsheet, create analytical reports based on records from different data storages, export information in an appropriate format. For advanced database users, DBeaver suggests a powerful SQL-editor, plenty of administration features, abilities of data and schema migration, monitoring database connection sessions, and a lot more.

 

Out-of-the box DBeaver supports more than 80 databases.

Main Features

 

Connection to various datasources

• Choice of database driver from the variety of supported types. The list of drivers includes drivers for relational, document oriented, key value, time-series and other databases.
• Support of user-defined connection types and creation of custom drivers and the Driver Manager
• Configuration of standard (host, port, user credentials) as well as advanced connection properties:
  • SSH tunnel
  • SOCKS proxy
  • Shell commands to be executed before/after actual database connection
• Bootstrap SQL queries executing in the database session immediately after connecting

 

NoSQL / BigData databases

DBeaver Enterprise has special extensions for:

All these databases have SQL interface and you can work with them as with good old relational databases.

Customer Support

Users of Enterprise Edition have an access to the special online support system. They can write a ticket with question, bug or improvement and track it from the profile.

It usually takes us no more than one working days to answer questions, and just a few days to fix bugs reported by the users.

License types

 

There are various types of DBeaver EE licenses. Here you can find a short description for each of them.
 

TRIAL LICENSE

The Trial license is a free license that can be requested by everyone for the product test. The Trial license is valid during 14 days.

You can request the Trial license from the DBeaver EE application directly or by filling the special form on the site.

You can request the trial license for each new version of DBeaver Enterprise Edition.
 

STANDARD LICENSE

The Standard license is perpetual. The license is distributed per user. One user can install DBeaver with this license on a few workstations if they are used by this user only.

The standard license doesn’t require an internet access on user workstation workstation. User can run DBeaver with this license in offline mode or behind corporate firewall.

The standard license includes one or two years of support and maintenance. The standard support gives an access to the customer support system on the web site. The standard maintenance gives a possibility to download all new product versions released during the whole maintenance period.

After the end of the selected support period user can continue to use DBeaver Enterprise Edition without support and updates or buy a license extension or a new license.
 

GROUP LICENSE

The Group license is a standard license created for a determined number of users. A customer can order the group license for any number of users.

DBeaver EE with the Group license can be installed on the limited number of workstations according to the number of users in the license. Also, DBeaver EE can be installed on a virtual machine with the limited access for the determined number of users.

The Group license can be ordered by the email request. The price of the Group license depends on number of users. There are various volume discounts for the Group licenses that also depend on number of users.
 

SUBSCRIPTION LICENSE

The subscriptions license is a license that gives a possibility to use DBeaver Enterprise Edition during the subscription period. By default subscription is automatically renewed every month. You can stop auto-prolongation at any time in the FastSpring storefront.

One user can install DBeaver with this license on a few workstations if they are used by this user only.

The subscription license requires an internet access on the workstation for the first activation and each prolongation. User will not be able to use DBeaver with subscription license without activation.
 

ACADEMIC LICENSE

The Academic license is a free license that is provided for students and teachers only.

You can use DBeaver EE without any restrictions during one year with the Academic license. After the first year you will need to request the new license and reaffirm your student or teacher status.

If you want to get Academic license you need to fill a special form. We use a university email for your status verification, so, please, use your university account for the request. The official request from the university email is the easiest way to receive the Academic license.

If you do not have a university email you have to attach some documents for your status verification, e.g. photo of your student card, contract with your name, etc.

All requests are reviewed manually. Usually, it takes about three working days.
 

OEM LICENSE

DBeaver Enterprise Edition can become a part of your internal system or platform. We will be glad to discuss different options of the partnership. If you are interested in such type of integration, please write to us by email.
