Limitations

 

Before you run SecureRecovery for InterBase to recover database objects, you must confirm that you have the same version of InterBase or Firebird installed on your system that was used when the corrupted files were created. Importing the newly restored files into older or newer versions of InterBase or Firebird will risk the integrity of the recovered data.

SecureRecovery for InterBase is a Windows-based application that requires the following minimum specifications:

• Operating System: Windows 7, Vista, XP, 2000, 2008 Server, and 2003 Server
• Does not support Windows 98, 95, or ME
• RAM: 256 – 1024 MB (requirements vary based on range of corruption and size of database)
• Hard Disk: 10 MB minimum free space is required
• Display: resolution of 640x480 or higher at 256 colors
