User Account Management

The Report and Dashboard Server's UI is easy-to-use and is designed to simplify the way in which user accounts are generated. The following enterprise-ready authentication options are built-in:

Windows Authentication;
Server Authentication.

You can also activate self-service registration for new users, which automatically adds an account when a user first logs in. The Server supports authentication using the OpenID Connect and WS-Federation protocols.

Enterprise Ready Security

The DevExpress Report and Dashboard Server includes 4 unique built-in security groups associated with the document creation process:

System Administrator: Full access to all server functionality and user account administration.
Data Administrator: Ability to manage and control the data available to documents.
Document Creator: Maintain document categories and create/manage individual documents.
Document Viewer: Access to view and print documents and to receive document distributions.
