BoostSolutions SharePoint AD Management Pack
A Powerful toolkit for efficient AD management
Improve AD management and cut administrative costs
AD ADMINISTRATION - DELEGATE AD MANAGEMENT PRIVILEGES TO SPECIFIC USERS.
DELEGATE AD MANAGEMENT TO SPECIFIC USERS
Delegate AD administration permissions to junior admins (such as junior IT members, department admins, business managers, etc.) so that they can manage specific OUs, users and groups, thereby dramatically cutting support cost.
MANAGE AD OUS, USERS AND GROUPS IN SHAREPOINT
This easy-to-use administrative tool provides the same user experience to create, delete, or edit OUs, users and groups in SharePoint and in Active Directory. Any modification of these AD objects within the Web Part can be saved to the Active Directory.
GRANT GRANULAR PERMISSIONS TO MANAGE AD OBJECTS
AD Administration offers you granular control over permissions for users. By selecting one or more granular permissions, you can assign users with proper rights to manage OUs, groups and users.
EASILY MANAGE USER PROPERTIES
Besides accessing and modifying users’ properties, you can also manage users the same as in Active Directory, including enabling/disabling a user, resetting passwords, renaming and adding users to a domain group and so on.
SEND EMAILS TO USERS/GROUPS
Enable Site Managers to quickly and easily email individuals, users or entire user groups directly using the Web Part, ensuring that everyone is notified whenever changes are made. The SMTP server settings can be customized.
TRACK ALL CHANGES AND CHANGE ATTEMPTS
Conveniently check log files to monitor any change or change attempts. You can filter logs based on the time of the change, nature of the change or a combination of the two. You can also check a specific property change details.
