WinMagic SecureDoc---a full-featured hard disk encryption product

SecureDoc is a full-featured disk encryption product that guarantees the security of static data (DAR). It consists of two parts: client software for data encryption and decryption; server software (SecureDoc Enterprise Server or SES) for configuring and running encryption facilities for the entire organization.

SecureDoc client software uses FIPS 140-2 primary and secondary certified AES 256-bit encryption engine to encrypt data. It can for Windows, Mac and other operating systems to provide encryption.

Server software (SES) allows administrators to configure and maintain data encryption across the organization through the Integrated Management Console.

The tasks that can be done by the SES management platform administrator include:

1. Simplify device management with PBConnex

2. Identify user and device profiles

3. Manage and label the encryption key

4. Monitor the status of the encrypted device

The latest release of SecureDoc7.1 SR2 has the following new features:

1. Support Windows portable devices

2. New remote media encryption (RME) log management capabilities

3. Support the new Mac FileVault2 operating system X10.11.3 (EI Capitan)
