To gain user trust, PatAssist prioritizes accuracy and precision. We have designed it to deliver precise, context-aware responses rather than speculative or imaginative outputs. Sufficient guardrails have been implemented so that the AI response is strictly from the information disclosed within each patent document, supplemented by general industry knowledge, mimicking a subject matter expert. To keep responses as transparent as possible, the Assistant also gives references to the source. We still believe we have not eliminated hallucinations completely and so recommend users to double-check answers especially when making critical decisions.
