Dynamsoft Barcode Reader V8.6 is Here

We are happy to announce the release of Dynamsoft Barcode Reader SDK v8.6. The new version comes with two DeblurMode Enumerations to support more usage scenarios, improved confidence calculation algorithm, and more. Take a look at all the major highlights! 

Improved 1D Barcode Reading Accuracy 

Improved the confidence algorithm, which further improved the accuracy rate for 1D barcodes.

Even Better Performance In Blur Scenarios 

We have added two new image processing operations, DeblurMode Enumerations, DM_BASED_ON_LOC_BIN, and DM_SHARPENING_SMOOTHING, which will support more usage scenarios. 

Improved Efficiency in Mobile

The mobile version introduces two new APIs to improve the accuracy of barcode scanning.

The enableResultVerification API will verify the barcode decoding results before output, which will significantly improve barcode scanning accuracy.

The enableDuplicateFilter will filter the barcode decoding results before output if this feature is enabled. The duplicated results will be output only once for every three seconds.

More Mobile Samples 

This new release added several mobile native samples for iOS and Android.
