VisualARQ 2.11 available

• IFC: import and export options dialog to import models with data or as geometry only.
• 2D Views: option to show plan and section views with no projection.
• Scale openings: now you can scale doors and windows with the Rhino Scale commands.
• Tags: multine tags, display custom parameters and Grasshopper styles parameters in tags.
• Spaces: display custom parameters in space labels, with the desider order.
• Performance: important enhancement of display performance and generation of 2D plan and section views.
• Grasshopper components: edit wall and slab layer offsets from Grasshopper.

VisualARQ roadmap

We are working on the VisualARQ 2.12 version now, (since there are still a few bugs we would like to fix) and hopefully, this will be the last update before we can focus squarely on VisualARQ 3. We have already an internal version of VisualARQ 3 running on Rhino 6, 7, and 8. It doesn’t include any new feature yet, but as soon as it has one (probably the IFC4 support, which is quite advanced), we will publish a WIP of it. It will be only available for existing users. I hope we can share it this summer.

We still don’t know when we will release the final VisualARQ 3. Not before 2022. We need to evaluate the time and effort to carry out all features we wish. Some of them are Objects attached to levels, intersections of slabs and walls,  reflected ceiling plans or the mentioned support to IFC4 files.
