SuperMix combines the power of four mixed effects software: MIXREG, MIXOR, MIXNO and MIXPREG. Donald Hedeker and Robert Gibbons put the four software in an application to measure the hybrid effect regression model.
The mixed-effect regression model is also called a multi-layer, hierarchical or stochastic effect model. These models can be used to analyze longitudinal data in which each individual is measured in different situations. They can also be used to analyze cluster data, such as data from different clinic patients.
SuperMix was developed by SSI in the SBIR Phase II N44MH32056 contract and was released in 2008. It fits up to three levels of nesting for continuous, counting, ordinal, nominal, and survivable variable variables with nested data. The main features are as follows:
1. Easy-to-use graphical interface: Import data into SuperMix spreadsheets and create new models with menus and dialog boxes.
2. Create a hybrid effect model for continuous result variables with autocorrelation residuals
3. Create a hybrid effect model for ordinal regression analysis, including non-proportional odds and scaling effects
4. Create a hybrid effect model for Poisson regression analysis
5. Create a hybrid effect model for nominal logistic regression analysis
6. Create a hybrid effect model for grouped-time survival analysis
The 7.2- and 3-layer models can be nested
8. Show high quality pictures
