PRODUCT UPDATE - Netop Remote Control Portal

Netop is pleased to announce an update to the Netop Remote Control Portal. On Wednesday, March 31, 2021, three customer requested improvements will be released:

Import User Groups from Azure AD

New configuration options for the Netop Portal’s Azure AD authentication method allow Portal administrators to browse their Azure AD groups and import them as a Portal User Group. Once imported, the Azure AD groups can be used in Role Assignments. 

Control Guest Downloads

Several Netop customers have requested the ability to “hide” the Download Guest (Support Console) button on the My devices page. With this release, visibility of the Download Guest button is tied to a user’s permissions. The button will only be visible for users who have a Device Role assigned with a Client type that includes the Windows, Linux or Mac Guest.

Use (Blanks) as a Column Filter

Column filters on Users, Devices and Role assignments pages now include an option to select items with a null or “blank” entry. This improvement makes it easier to identify users or devices not assigned to a group, especially for accounts with large number of items in each column.
