Stay at the forefront of your field with PatSeer's updates

Dec 2025 – Unified NPL Discovery, Smarter Abstracts, and Enhanced Workflow Control

1. Integrated NPL Search

You can now search across Non-Patent Literature (NPL) with a single syntax, right within PatSeer. Filter, analyze, and export 240M+ records from journals, dissertations, standards, and major repositories like PubMed and ArXiv—just like you do with patents.

2. Value-added Abstracts on Results Page

Speed up your review with AI-powered Value-added Abstracts that now appear directly on the search results screen. Get immediate context and key highlights without extra clicks, allowing for faster relevance assessment and comparison.

3. Direct Browser Image Upload

Streamline your search workflow. The AI Image Search tool now allows you to upload images directly from your browser, making it quicker and easier to run visual similarity searches and explore patterns.

4. Mark Records as Unseen

Take full control of your screening process. The new “Mark as Unseen” feature lets you reset any viewed record, giving you the flexibility to revisit and re-prioritize documents in your workflow whenever needed.

5. New Export Field – Related Documents

Get deeper visibility into a patent’s filing history with the new Related Documents export field. Access linked records such as continuations, divisional applications, and patents of addition, all in one place.

6. Data Enhancements

We’ve rolled out targeted data improvements to strengthen coverage, accuracy, and usability across the PatSeer patent database.

·Expanded Full-Text Coverage
Full-text availability for India (IN) and Thailand (TH) patent records has been enhanced by systematically closing historical data gaps, enabling more comprehensive review and analysis.

·Broader Geographic Coverage
Singapore (SG) patent records are now available for publications from 2021 onwards, expanding jurisdictional visibility in Southeast Asia.

·Improved Family Linking
Patent family relationships for GC records have been refined, allowing for more accurate cross-jurisdiction linking and clearer family-level insights.
