The Pipe Flow Wizard software will calculate the maximum length of a pipe for a given flow rate and a maximum allowed pressure drop. The software takes in to account pipe friction losses, the pipe material, internal roughness of the pipe, the specified flow rate, the maximum allowed pressure drop, the loss through any fittings, bends, and valves, the fluid density, and the fluid viscosity.
Liquids and Gases
For liquid calculations, the Pipe Flow Wizard software uses the Darcy Weisbach equation with accurate Colebrook-White friction factors, to determine the total friction loss and overall pressure drop in the pipe.

The Pipe Flow Wizard software includes sets of data (which can be added to) that allows users to easily choose pipe material, pipe diameter, pipe fittings and the fluid to be used in the calculation.
