Channel G Compact delivers the same sonic experience as Channel G with a smaller DSP footprint. The Channel G Compact user interface seamlessly integrates with the Avid S1, S4, and S6 control surfaces, the D-Control and D-Command legacy control surfaces, as well as the S6L live sound consoles.
Comprehensive Compression
Channel G Compact has 11 pre-programmed knee curves, feed-forward and feed-back compression, and can be routed pre or post the EQ section.

Channel G Compact offers modeling of six large format mixing consoles at the touch of a button. Switch between different EQ and compression designs instantly.
RTA
Use the Real-Time Analyzer to monitor how the frequency spectrum is being affected. The RTA feature is only available for AAX Native, AU, and VST3 plug-in formats.

Dynamic Filters
The G Equalizer has two independent fully sweepable filters. Each filter has a selectable slope (up to 24 dB/ Oct) and filter type control.
Comp/Limiter Key
The Compressor/Limiter can key from the original input (un-filtered), the side chain input, or the output of the two filters.
Phase Adjustments
Adjust the polarity of the left and/or right channels.
Flow Diagram
The Flow Diagram shows all signal paths, routing, and inline status of all sections. Key signal flow is also displayed.
Smooth EQ
The Channel G Compact equalizer has four EQ bands (LF, LMF, HMF, HF). The LF and HF bands have shelf and parametric modes.
Meters
The Channel G Compact plug-in includes metering for input, output, and Compressor/Limiter gain reduction.
