Dynamsoft Barcode Reader SDK Windows Edition provides four APIs: C/C++, ActiveX/COM, .NET and PHP. With the .NET API, you can easily simulate a server-side barcode scanner in your ASP.NET web applications. Before going any further, you may play with the barcode demo first. It supports reading barcode from images (PNG, Tiff, JPEG, BMP and more) and PDF files.

Barcode Symbologies Support:

Both Linear and 2D bar code types are supported:

• 1D barcode support includes Code 39, Code 93, Code 128, Codabar, Interleaved 2 of 5, EAN-8, EAN-13, UPC-A, UPC-E,Industrial 2 of 5;
• 2D barcode support includes QRCode, DataMatrix and PDF417.

Server Support

• OS: Windows
  As the backend is using the Dynamsoft Barcode Reader ActiveX port, the wrapper only works on applications deployed on Windows for now..
• IIS 7.5 and above
