Open PDF files with a barcode scan

How It Works

Step 01

Select the folder

Set the folder path containing your PDFs

 

 

Step 02

Set the {{ barcode }} placeholder

The barcode value will be automatically replaced in the file path.

Example:
C:\MyFolder\{{ barcode }}.pdf → C:\MyFolder\123456789.pdf

Yes, you can use it also a folder name, file name prefix, suffix, etc.

Step 03

Scan a barcode

? Connect your USB or Bluetooth scanner to the computer
? Configure it so that sends the ENTER key

Open PDFs using a Barcode Scanner

Step 1 - Put your files inside a folder

Put all your PDF files inside a folder and name each file with a number (or text) that matches the content of your printed barcodes

 

Step 2 - Set the path in Barcode2PDF

Open Barcode2PDF, click on the "Select" and open the folder where you put your PDF files

 

Step 3 - Scan a barcode

When scanning a barcode its value will be used to open the corresponding PDF file

Print PDFs using a Barcode Scanner

Step 1 - Put your files inside a folder

Click the "Settings" button and enable the "Automatically print documents" option

 

Step 4 - Scan a barcode

When scanning a barcode its value will be used to open the corresponding PDF file and print it
