SIMURAIL.METRO reproduces, for Metro companies and services, the 3D line environment (stations, tunnels, tracks, signals, interlocking system etc.) and the functions of SICTRE and SIMACEI (described in the section dedicated to the railway companies). It can be integrated with another software package, named SIMUGENS, which specifically focuses on simulating the dynamic behavior of large crowds inside the metro station and can:
- support the design of the station layout and of the information system for passengers in the station.
- allow to perform virtually practices regarding the evacuation of people in case of emergency.
SIMURAILTRAM, SIMURAILBUS and URBAN.TROLLEYBUS are hardware and software packages (including the cockpit of the vehicles) focused in the training of tram, bus and trolleybus drivers in a city 3D environment with a high degree of realism and with different traffic conditions. Likewise the SICTRE simulator, they allow two levels of training.

The Vehicle driving module guides the driver to:
- Familiarize with the driving cabin equipment and with the safety/diagnostic systems.
- Familiarize with the 3D urban or suburban environment where the vehicle circulates, the streetlights, the overhead contact line (where existing), the switch points (where existing) etc..
- Familiarize to drive in different conditions of the urban or suburban area traffic.
- Familiarize to drive the vehicles in different meteorological, visibility and adherence conditions as well as in anomaly and emergency situations.
- Familiarize with the vehicle's main electric and pneumatic sub-systems.
The "Service mission" module regards different functions such as:
- Training to drive the vehicle on a specific service route (virtual but with a high level of reality).
- Performing practice in different operation conditions (normal, anomalous or emergency), simulating dialogue with the Central Control Room Manager and passengers.
- Training to driving to achieve the best comfort of the passengers;
- Training to saving energy and/or reducing the polluting emissions.
- Training to the best usage of the vehicle.
