Language Options for Camtasia and Snagit

What language is Camtasia available in?

• Camtasia 2020 is available in English, German, French, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, and Chinese.
• Camtasia 2019 is available in English, German, French, Japanese (Windows only), and Chinese.
• Camtasia 2018 is available in English, German, French, and Japanese (Windows only).

 

 

 

What language is Snagit available in?

• Snagit 2021 is available in English, German, French, Japanese, Spanish, and Portuguese.
• Snagit 2020 is available in English, German, and French.
• Snagit 2019 is available in English, German, and French.

 

 

 

If I am a new user that has not installed Camtasia or Snagit yet, where do I select the language I want to use?

Language selection happens during the installation process. You can download Camtasia or Snagit from their download pages on any TechSmith site. Upon installation, a language selection menu will appear. Select the language you wish to use.

 

 

 

Can I use Camtasia or Snagit in multiple languages at once?

No. Right now, you must select one language during the installation process. You cannot switch between languages while using the product. To change languages, see the question above.
